Ocean waves, and water draining from a flat beach, can create amazing shapes that often disappear in the next tide. So capturing them involves a short opportunity, if not a decisive moment. And sometimes it also requires imaginative seeing, and involves some creativity with an unusual perspective or vantage point. Or depending on what you are referencing, the other way around!
